href=\"http:\/\/www.mmaglobal.com\/events\/the-smarties\/2014\/shortlist-latam\">Smarties<\/a>\u00a0award in the \u2018Location Based\u2019 category during a ceremony hosted by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mmaglobal.com\/\">Mobile Marketing Association (MMA)<\/a>on Wednesday night, October 1<sup>st<\/sup>, in New York City.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The annual event recognizes the most innovative and creative mobile marketing strategies worldwide, and in its 10<sup>th<\/sup> edition there were 100 campaigns submitted from over 30 countries. \u00a0Adsmovil was among the \u2018Shortlist\u2019 of finalists in three of the awards\u2019 10 categories \u2013 \u2018Cross Media Integration,\u2019 \u2018Innovation\u2019 and \u2018Location Based\u2019 \u2013 compliments for its advertising campaign designed for mobile devises in Brazil for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rb.com\/home\">Reckitt Benckiser<\/a>\u00a0insecticide SBP.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very happy and pleased for the recognition of our work. \u00a0This innovative mobile strategy used in this campaign allowed us a closer and more precise contact between the brand and the consumer, beating all expectations and objectives previously proposed in others platforms,\u201d affirmed the CEO of Adsmovil, Alberto Pardo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Adsmovil\u2019s challenges for the campaign for the insecticide SBP was to use tools for \u2018geolocation,\u2019 \u2018georeferencing,\u2019 and techniques for behavioral targeting to position the product as a segment leader and targeting women\/mothers over the age of 25 who resided in areas with high susceptibility to mosquitoes, such as the beaches in Sao Paolo, Rio de Janeiro, and the northeast of Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo participate in this awards ceremony with a Brazilian campaign was very important. \u00a0The award proves that today the mobile platform offers brands greater power of segmentation,\u201d emphasized Andrea Orsolon, Country Manager, Brazil, for Adsmovil. \u201cTo be awarded for a campaign that was developed in Brazil is evidence of the country\u2019s advancement in these new technologies, which are already a reality in the local market.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe campaign\u2019s strategy was to connect with the target audience through any mobile device, regardless of its location. \u00a0SBP made an impression on consumers with an important message for families in places with a greater incidence of mosquitoes. \u00a0It was a mobile strategy centered on the consumer, not where the mobile devise was located,\u201d stated Marcela Panhota, LatAm Digital Media Manager of Reckitt Benckiser.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Alberto Pardo o Adsmovil also highlighted that the mobile industry is focusing more and more on the context of locating consumers in order to offer the best and most precise data to the advertisers.\u00a0 \u201cThe new concept, \u2018Where are you?\u2019 is becoming more popular than \u2018Who are you?\u2019,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Adsmovil campaign for the SBP brand, from Reckitt Benckiser achieved a click-through-rate (CTR) five times higher than it had obtained through online web advertising. \u00a0This action was previously implemented through digital media and the creative concept was the same, but with adaptive changes for the advertising pieces for the ads to be seen in smartphones and tablets.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Adsmovil had been operating in the Brazil since 2012 and has more than 30 advertisers in the country. \u00a0The company develops creative advertising campaigns and mobile resources, and also offers mobile solutions that generate a greater interaction between brands and consumers in Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.adsmovil.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/IMG_4686.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1155\"
